I really enjoyed the sequel to the Empress of Salt and Fortune! The scope and the story were more to my taste. And its sequel-ness really adds to the atmosphere of travel and chronicling.
Under The Skin: The sleazy other captain truly was the standout performance! I feel the same way about gratuitous sexualized violence and unintentional sexism. I was extremely unhappy with the butterfly case and how it ended up being centered on the wrong things that I couldn't even enjoy Shen Yi's superpowers. I loved Shen Yi and the show conceptually but the rest of the show fell apart around it, which was frustrating to me. I still think Shen Yi's Extra moments were worth it, I just don't think I would have stuck around long enough to get to the Best Parts if I was watching on my own.
Dream Boys has PLOT????? I always thought it was just song/dance numbers with a theme haha.
Cyphstress - LOL my main issue is that it didn't feel designed to be played online—ESPECIALLY the labyrinth puzzle, which was just so difficult to work with on a computer. I think this would be best as a physical activity. I did enjoy the intro puzzle a lot (but only because I had help XD). I also feel that the lack of satisfaction comes from the puzzles being almost all ciphers??? (I genuinely did enjoy their Movember game, though—it was cuter and less pretentious and more visual.)
