Yeah it does seem to be a common request! I think part of the problem is
that ActivityPub doesn't have a syntax for saying 'this post that was in X
location is now in Y location.' So even if you have direct database access
to dump entries from one instance and move them to the db of another, you
effectively now have two different versions of a post (like importing LJ
into DW, I guess. Everything referring to old LJ posts won't be
automatically forwarded to the DW version)
