Who’s watching hikago?

Would love more people to squee with if you're watching the hikago cdrama / qihun! According to the internet, eng subs will be released tomorrow!!

So far, I've watched (and livetweeted lol) eps 1 and 2, which are the ones where they are small elementary schoolers and are EXTREMELY CUTE. Baby!Akira’s actor is very good. (CW: if CCP propaganda about hong kong is distressing, skip the very beginning and end of ep 1.)

oohh I saw the trailer for this, I should give the drama a shot. If nothing else it will be a good distracting from political doomscrolling.

Yes! I really enjoyed eps 1 and 2 -- the actor for child Akira is particularly good. 3 and 4 were a little less charming (some inexplicable divergence choices were made), but I'm still going to keep watching for now. Would be really interested in your thoughts on it if you get around to watching!

Do you know where the subs will be found? I am not great with drama sticking power but I will 100% attempt for hng.

Though it's only free for the first two eps there atm; you have to pay for more eps or wait for them to be released. I assume other sites will start to rip the subs soon, but they're not up on dramacool yet.
